Source-reference note:
The supplied A+ heading, Shopify image resources and product video use
6916L-1709B / 6916L-1710B as prominent product references.
However, both the A+ technical table and the separate product-parameter source identify
6916L-1956E / 6916L-1957E as the Part Number.
The A+ technical source gives full LG INNOTEK dates ending in 2014.01.07,
while the separate parameter source provides the shorter literal values ending in
2014.01. and also contains the literal visible-number value Dire.
These source-specific differences are preserved instead of silently corrected.
6916L-1709B / 6916L-1710B LED Backlight Strips Product Video
View the supplied GuuYebe product video to compare this 8-strip A/B set with the original backlights. Check the 6916L-1709B / 6916L-1710B product references together with the 6916L-1956E / 6916L-1957E / LC420DUE-MGA3 identification, 825 mm A+B length, 8-LED layout, connectors and mounting positions before ordering or installation.
The product video is a visual reference for the supplied strip set and does not by itself confirm compatibility with every TV production version.
6916L-1709B / 6916L-1710B LED Backlight Strip Details
LED Beads and Optical Lenses
The supplied product information lists 8 LED beads per strip at 6 V per LED. Compare the LED count, lens spacing and A/B strip profile with the original assembly.
Connector Interface
Compare the original power connector shape, contact arrangement and orientation before installation. A matching LG model family alone is not sufficient to confirm the installed backlight assembly.
Mounting and Fitment Check
Compare the mounting-hole positions, connector placement, 825 mm A+B dimensions and complete physical strip layout with the original set before installation.
LG TV Has Sound but No Picture? Check the Backlight
If a compatible LG TV has sound but the screen remains dark, failed LED backlights are one possible cause. Shining a flashlight at an angle across the powered screen may reveal a faint image, which can indicate that the LCD image is present but the display is not being illuminated normally. This test does not prove the LED strips are faulty; the LED driver, power supply or other circuitry may also require diagnosis.

TV LED Backlight Strip Replacement Process Video
This is a general GuuYebe LED backlight replacement walkthrough. It is not a model-specific 6916L-1709B / 6916L-1710B, 6916L-1956E / 6916L-1957E or LG 42-inch installation video. TV disassembly involves fragile display panels and electrical hazards. Disconnect power and use appropriate repair procedures.
